Preliminary Applications for the 2020-21 Preschool Program to Be Accepted February 10-28

Preliminary applications for the 2020-21 FCPS preschool program will be accepted from the families of eligible students residing in the Apple Pie Ridge, Gainesboro, Indian Hollow, Jordan Springs, Redbud Run and Stonewall elementary school attendance zones through Friday, February 28. Applications should be completed and submitted ​at​ the school ​in whose attendance zone the rising preschool student currently resides.

2020-21 Kindergarten Registration

Frederick County Public Schools Kindergarten Registration will be in 2 phases. For those families who have rising kindergartners and students already enrolled in Frederick County Schools are encouraged to use Early Bird Registration February 3-28. All other families can enroll during regular registration March 3-31. Registration is by appointment only.

FCPS is hosting a teacher career fair on Saturday, February 29, 2020. The fair will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Frederick County Middle School. The fair is open to individuals who are eligible for, or hold, a Virginia teaching license. Pre-registration is closed. Walk-ins are welcome.

Kindergarten Registration for 2020-21 to Be Held in Two Phases
01/27/2020
Parents with a student currently enrolled in Frederick County Public Schools should register their rising kindergarten student between February 3 and 28. Parents who have no children currently enrolled in FCPS should register their child for kindergarten from March 3-31. Parents should complete the registration process at the elementary school their child will attend.
